Humanitarian Nineveh Relief Organization (HNRO) has welcomed a delegation representing EUDP project from United Nations Investigative Team to Promote Accountability for Crimes Committed by Da’esh/ISIL (UNITAD).
Youhanna Y. Toma, the head of board of HNRO provided a brief about the organization, its expertise, role in community and its relief, healthcare and legal services provided since forced displacement in 2014 to the present day.
Meanwhile, Jelena Čakalovska, head of delegation of EUDP, expressed UNITAD’s support to capacity building of the NGOs within the scope of their work and to identify needs that could be met before the end of UNITAD’s mandate in Iraq in September 2024.
The meeting was also attended by HNRO Legal Clinic’s team.
