Humanitarian Nineveh Relief Organization held a music course in Qaraqosh (Baghdeda) in the fall of 2021. The course, designed for children, adolescents and youth, included 5 divisions: solfege, violin, recorder, percussion and cello. The duration of the lectures ranged from 24 to 48 hours for each class, depending on the level of the participants. These courses aim to develop talents, enhance musical culture in the community, alleviate psychological trauma and support choirs, chanting groups and local music bands within the returnees’ communities.
